Key Verses Genesis 36:6-7 / Isaiah 55:1-3
Genesis 36 / Isaiah 55
1. Grasp at the world resolutely
Those who set their mind on what sinful nature desires and covet the world, will unite with the world and forsake the grace of the Lord easily. It is worthless to be chiefs and kings of the world, because all will be gone in an instant when one dies.
2. Thirst to obey the word of the Lord
All you who are thirsty, come to the Lord. Give ear to the word of the Lord to get the faithful love promised. If you forsake the wicked way and do good, you will be useful to the Lord. If you thirst to obey the word of the Lord, you will become a light to all nations.
Psalm 36 / Revelation 12:6 Shelter / The desert
Flee to the desert and take refuge in the Lord’s shadow, so that one will be delivered from sins and the pursuit of the enemy. He who knows the righteousness and kindness of God enjoys the feast. The enemy is prostrated.
